Troublshooting SQL Server Jobs

Troubleshooting SQL Server Jobs may be hectic sometimes, do consider this small tip which may help you to get into the exact steps at which it is failing!

The option which you are seeing here can be found by Right clicking SQL Server Agent and selecting Properties.

Once you enable this option, SQL Server will write the execution traces to SQL Server Agent Error log which will help to find the exact rootcause of this issue.

Note that size of SQL Server Agent Log will grow once you enable this option, so enable it only when troubleshooting or needed!
